We would like to extend our thanks to Omagh CBS for welcoming the P6 boys for a fantastic STEM day. The children had a enjoyable and educational experience, taking part in a range of exciting activities. They competed in a Maths Competition, designed and built their own rockets which they later launched, and even got hands-on in science using acid and a Bunsen burner. They also enjoyed making their own pizzas and were very well looked after with a meal in the canteen. A special congratulations goes to Rohan and Jarlaith, who created the best rocket out of the six participating schools—pictured with host teacher Mrs Doherty. We appreciate the hospitality shown by everyone at Omagh CBS.
