Pupils in St Dympna's PS enjoyed a fun filled Sports Day last Monday as they competed in many events! We began the day with a whole school warm up in the Sports Hall before we divided into our classes. We had lots of laughter and fun as the children competed in the 'egg & spoon', sprint, sack, long run and long kick to name a few!
After a 'fun day dinner' we played Team games to earn additional points for our Province! The 'Water Race' was definitely a wonderful way to end our fun-filled day!
Just a reminder, Sports Day Prize-giving will take place on Friday 20th June at 1.30pm for Years 1-3 and 2.20pm for Yrs 4-7! Parents are most welcome to attend.
