St Teresa’s played host to a brilliant day’s football in Loughmacrory, where the boys topped a tough group after impressive wins over Pomeroy, Carrickmore and Glencull. The performances were full of energy, skill and real determination, with every player stepping up when it mattered. The semi-final against the hosts was a battle in a fierce wind, and despite a huge effort the boys were edged out by a single point. Still, the heart they showed throughout the tournament had Mr Simpson, Mr McLaughlin and all the travelling parents bursting with pride. A big word of thanks goes to the Sandra Kelly family, Mr McCullagh and everyone at St Teresa’s for the invite and for organising such a superbly run tournament.
