Pupils, staff and friends of St. Dympna's celebrated the twenty wonderful years Ms McGovern has given to St. Dympna's on Monday 27th October. We were delighted Ms McGovern's husband and daughters were with us for this special occasion. Following a beautiful Mass in the church led by Fr. Dolan, friends and former colleagues gathered together in the school hall for refreshments and a trip down memory lane as everyone celebrated and remembered the wonderful influence Claudia has had on so many during her time at St. Dympna's. Gifts including an iPad, jewellery and an Olive tree were presented on behalf of parents and staff. On behalf of the St. Dympna's School Community, we thank Ms McGovern for her wonderful teaching and wish her many happy years as she embarks on this next chapter of her life.
