In Primary 4, we have been writing our own recipes in our instructional writing topic. On Friday, we had lots of fun making Rice Krispie buns. It was a busy morning and everyone helped to mix, scoop and decorate their own bun. After this, we were able to write our own set of excellent instructions, with an ingredient/equipment list, clear numbered steps and pictures. During Golden Time, we were very excited for the final (and best) step - eating our delicious treat!
