In St. Dympna's Primary School, we are blessed with supportive parents, who are greatly appreciated by the staff and pupils.
Last week, we required a gate and fence which was no longer fit for purpose to be replaced. We were delighted when Colm McNabb (Grace in P2's father) and Pearse Mc Nabb (former pupil) agreed they could help the school on this occasion. They asked local contractor Sean Mc Cusker (Cait in P7's father) for some costly materials, which he kindly donated. Shane Mannion (father of Michael in P3 and Ava in P1) was also involved in the process, drilling holes for the fence poles.
We are most grateful to Colm and Pearse for giving up their time on Saturday to replace the old with the new. The staff and children are most impressed with the new gate and fence which is a wonderful job. Thanks very much gentlemen for your support and generosity.
