On Friday, our school turned into a sea of green as we celebrated our annual 'Green Day', in preparation for the feast day of Saint Patrick.
A highlight of our celebrations was the 'Green Day' concert held in the afternoon, where we were treated to an incredible display of talent from our KS1 and KS2 pupils.
The concert was opened with a wonderful rendition of our National Anthem by Sarah. After this, we were entertained with incredible traditional music, brilliant Irish dancing, beautiful singing and an excellent recitation of an Irish poem by Clodagh. We ended the concert with everyone coming together to sing a lovely rendition of Killeagh.
Well done to everyone who participated to make this a really super afternoon to celebrate our Irish culture.
