Cross-Country Teams Qualify for Finals!
Our school’s cross-country teams have been working incredibly hard over the past number of months, and we are delighted to share their fantastic achievements in the Tyrone and Fermanagh heats.
Both teams competed across three challenging heats, with six runners per team and the top four scores counting. Their dedication, teamwork, and determination truly shone through.
Girls’ Team – 3rd Overall
Congratulations to our girls’ team, who performed brilliantly throughout all three heats to finish third overall. Their consistency and team spirit were evident in every race.
Boys’ Team – 1st Overall
A huge well done to the boys, who claimed an impressive first place overall. Their strong performances in each heat secured them the top spot and a well deserved place in the finals.
Individual Achievement
A special mention goes to Damian McAleer, who delivered an outstanding run to finish first overall in two of the races. A superb individual accomplishment—well done, Damian!
Thank You to Our Coaches
We would like to express our sincere thanks to Mr McAnespy, Miss Pratt, Miss McFarland, and Tiernan for their commitment and encouragement. They have generously given up their time each week, with over 60 pupils attending cross country sessions on Wednesday afternoons and Thursday mornings.
On to the Finals!
We are thrilled that both teams have now qualified for the finals in Antrim at the end of the month. We wish all of our runners the very best of luck as they continue their preparations. We are incredibly proud of you all!
