On Tuesday 13th January we welcomed Jack from the council to our class. In term 1 we learned all about woodland animals and we were able to identify some birds who live in our area. Jack talked about how difficult it is for birds to find food during the winter and how this effects the birds. We learned about the types of food the birds are allowed to eat. We had great fun making our own bird feeders and placing them around the school grounds. We have been watching out for any birds using them. Jack even provided us with some extra wire so we could make our own at home.
